Worn by Michael Jackson, the Beastie Boys, Kate Moss or Oasis the gazelle became a cultural statement and something of a rite of passage. After the great Comeback of the 1991-Gazelle last year, adidas now brings back the legendary adidas Gazelle Super.

The sneaker made its debut back in 1987, in the country formerly known as Yugoslavia. Now a sought-after collector's item, the original design has long been unavailable. On the Gazelle's 30th anniversary, adidas Originals brings it back. These shoes are a one-to-one reissue of the first Gazelle Super shoes.The suede upper lends them a vintage look. "Gazelle" in gold-foil letters glitters alongside serrated 3-Stripes. Heritage logos decorate the heel tab and eye stay.
